Adult Day Health Care (ADHC)
Adult day health care (ADHC) centers provide medical care and a safe and supportive environment for adults who need assistance with daily activities. These centers provide important support for people with dementia/cognitive/physical disabilities. Currently Good Beats provides interactive musical presentations at 4 ADHCs each month. These performances feature trivia, raffles, dancing, egg shakers, and other fun community moments.
Children’s National (CN) Artist in Residence
Located in Washington DC, Children’s National Hospital is one of the leading medical centers in providing needed medical care and research for Children. Good Beats is an official artist in residence at Children’s National providing monthly shows in the atrium for patients and families and engaging in Good Beats on the move, which brings musical performances throughout the hospital to different departments.
LA Wildfire Benefits Concert
We rocked it out with award winning saxophone quartet Project Fusion for some great music (we even went duodecet for a couple songs) and raised $10k for Musicares, World Central Kitchen, and then American Red Cross to support those affected by the LA Wildfires and first responders.
